Most every RPG and rogue-like game take elements from the earliest of dungeon crawlers. So in honor of one of the best and earliest genres in the video gaming world, let's talk about the top 10 dungeon crawlers.

I've played a number of ARPG's throughout the years including older one's like Diablo 2 (of course) and Titan Quest and the likes. There are three in particular that are currently out and there's been numerous debates on which ones is the best (including this poll:D) but let's end it here. Vote which one is your favorite and why. As for me, I have played all three and while each has there strengths and weaknesses, I'm going to have to give it to Torchlight 2 overall. This game has a lot of potential because of the modding community and the maps are big and the randomization is great, it feels like I'm exploring. Out of all the three games I just feel Torchlight 2 has the best overall presentation with fun combat, great loot, and randomize maps.

When I first played Path of Exile I really liked it, this game has the most innovation out of the three. Bangla notepad for mac free. It has a massive passive skill forest with endless possibilities for customization. The gem system is awesome and gives even more layer to the depth of the game. But the big let down for me is that, like Diablo 3, it's always online and out of the three the combat is the least dynamic and exciting.

Diablo 3, well, like many of us witnessed, this game could have been so much better especially bearing the name Diablo. They have patch the game a lot and it's inching closer and closer to being a game we all wanted.hopefully. Even though the loot has gotten slightly better, let's face it, it's still pretty bad and reliance on the AH just ruins the fun in the item hunt. Also, I really wish the world was randomized like TL2 or PoE. Blizzard should have known better especially out of the three Diablo 3 has the least amount of endgame and it's just boring going throught the same map over and over again with no randomization aside from spawn points of events and such. Only thing Diablo 3 still does better than anybody so far is the combat, it's really fun and feels satisfying.

I see it like this. For melee combat, Diablo III is better. (very heavy hitting, and alot of the death animations were fantastic) For Ranged combat I would say Torchlight II feels better to me. The Combat as a whole in PoE is lacking.

Art style I would say goes to either PoE, or Diablo III. Atmosphere/theme/setting, I would say this goes to Path of Exile. Music is a toss up between PoE, and Torchlight II. Diablo III was a big let down in that area, especially when previous games of the series had some of the best music in gaming. Item system and skill system I would say goes easily to PoE.

Even Torchlight II seems to have a more interesting item system than Diablo III. (though I haven't played since recent patches, and prolly won't re-install anytime soon. Format usb for mac and windows on windows. HDD space, and time to allocate to other things) Performance of Diablo III is lacking considering what is happening on screen.

PoE performs surprisingly well for the same reasons. The AH, and RMAH hurt more than help in Diablo III. Though I did enjoy the dye system. Considering the price tags, and what is offered, I would choose either Path of Exile, or Torchlight II personally.

Diablo III is a decent game, but its easy to see (especially considering the alternatives/competition) it is a shadow of what it could of been, especially at a $60. IMO, it would have to be TL2. Out of the three, it may have the best community, good end game content, and the gear is excellent. PoE's combat is just as slow as a computer from 1986 booting up. It gets better later on, so dont worry, it goes from the speed of a 1986 computer to a 1996 computer (sorry for the negativity). PoE has the best customization of the three, and is the most complex.
