OWC 500GB Electra 6G SSD DIY Upgrade Bundle For 2011, 2012 Mac Mini. Now, my mac mini late 2012 works much better. The case is nice and small, and the drive is plenty quick - way faster than all but the very best thumb drives. I currently have a Mac Mini Late 2012 2.3Ghz server. I swapped one of the HDD and installed a Crucial SSD. It is running Yosemite perfectly, it is not in a fusion array. I have just purchased another Mac Mini server late 2012, this time a 2.6Ghz model with 1Tb Fusion drive setup.

Hmmm.I think Amazon lumps all the different sizes together. I am reviewing the 120GB SSD Plus. I noticed that the read speeds are as advertised = UP to 500+MBps.

The write speeds, however seem to top out at 80-90 MBps for the one that I have. I have also have one of these in 240GB size and the write speeds on it go up to 500+MBps. So I don't know if I received a bad one or if the 120GB size is limited in this way.

Because the drive works well (just slower than expected write speeds) I did not attempt to return and I am living with it in a repaired laptop. It works well, just a bit slow with writes. Again, maybe someone else has a review on the 120GB where they are seeing better writes and I have a dud. I used this SSD as a replacement hard drive in a mid-2012 Macbook Pro into which I'd already installed 16GB of RAM, and the improvement is nothing short of dramatic. I was having boot-up issues, with the computer freezing at the log-in screen for several minutes, and app icons seemed to bounce endlessly before the app would open. Now, from pressing the power button to the desktop takes 30 seconds, and apps open in a mere two bounces of the icon.

This kit will provide all of the tools you need for the project: • TEKTON 2830 Precision Bit and Driver Kit for Electronic and Precision Devices, 27-Piece (And these two videos will provide every bit of info needed for the process: • How to install an SSD with Yosemite / El Capitan on Macbook Pro (• MacBook Pro SSD Upgrade (Mid- 2012) (For the record, I transferred files from the old HD. I bought Lenovo Y510p 3 weeks ago and I plan to replace HDD. I really thankful that I bought this pc it's less expensive from other gaming machines and easy to open and upgrade, you can change whatever you want. Unlike to buy expensive one that you don't like what is inside.

There were no reviews as well for Lenovo Y510p with samsung evo 850 that's why I'm little bit worried to choice EVO 850 or not? But I decide to take the risk.

If is not working I will going to use as an external drive. Before I buy this I download first the Data Sheet of Samsung EVO 850 then the Data Sheet of Spinpoint M8 ST1000LM024 which originally installed from my laptop. And I saw the dimensions has little bit difference. Spinpoint M8 = Height 9.5 ± 0.2 mm, Width 69.75 ± 0.25 mm, Length 100.3 ± 0.4. It was plug and go -- the Firewire makes it fast. Looks, feels and functions solid.

I like the energy saving mode where it slows the fan(?) when the drive is on idle for awhile and it doesnʻt get hot. Unlike some others where the device starts to get really hot even with the fan on when connected for a long period. Worth its cost. One point, though, be sure to write down the serial number thatʻs on the box. Before throwing it away.

You will not find it on the device when you register it, unless you open the casing, which would break your manufacturerʻs warranty. Clear the cache in outlook 2016 for mac. This is a review of the Samsung 960 EVO 250GB M.2 SSD Drive.

Summary – I did purchase else where due to earlier availability and a few dollar savings, however, this is a BEAST! I am using this with [[ASIN:B00MYCQP38 Lycom DT-120 M.2 PCIe to PCIe 3.0 x4 Adapter (Support M.2 PCIe 2280, 2260, 2242)]] which was very cheap.
