Question: Help me cure my jumping cursor while typing! We have a new 2010 Dell Studio XPS laptop with Windows 7 and are experiencing a cursor jump while typing. The cursor jumps to a point above where it was during the typing (frequently to the TO or CC line of an e-mail message). The jump is unpredictable in terms of timing and position to which it goes.

Whenever a word is not recognized by the computer (just jumped up two lines again) when typing in posts like this, the cursing jumps up sometimes to the very top and because I type fast, the area highlights the entire post and the next key I type erases everything. I have typed professionally for almost 45 years (entire line just entirely highlighted.) I know how to type correctly with wrists up.

Entire post just highlighted again without touching the keyboard. I think the highlighted misspellings (touchpad is underlined in red) is the trigger. Misspelling (entire post just highlighted again) seems to be the trigger for the sensitivity.
