I have the same need as Brian. The article Rajkumar references talks about the.nk2 file as the location for the Recent Addresses. I believe this is the case for Windows and/or older Outlooks, but I can't find an.nk2 file on the Mac associated with Outlook 2011. There must be an equivalent file. A little more background.

I have numerous addresses, evidently in a cache somewhere because they autofill, but my Suggested Contacts list is blank. It's my understanding that they should be showing up as suggested contacts. I'd ideally love to know how to make them show up as SCs, but if not, exporting to a.csv file would be a fine workaround. Any insight appreciated. I figured out a way as there is no.nk2 file in outlook 2011 for mac nor is there software to transfer the file. It has be manipulated manually: browse to file location: HD/Users/username/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/Main Identity/Data Records/Recent Addresses/0T/0B/0M/0K/x19_4.olk14Recent copy this file out, then open in TextEdit do a find and replace of everything with.net to.net(hard return) you can copy a hard return by going into textedit, hitting return at end of line and then copying this.

Repeat for.com,.org,. Until the list looks pretty good. Go to bottom of file and delete all the gibberish beyond the email addresses.

Go to top of file and add a new line at very top named: Email Address (this helps define the field for some email import programs). Quicktime 7.5.5 update for mac. Outlook remembers up to 1000 email addresses you've used in the past, even if you have never stored them as Contacts. There are pros and cons to this behavior. One benefit is that you can easily retrieve email addresses you have used just by typing the first few letters. A drawback is that as you update your contacts, the AutoComplete name cache file remains static. So even though you have changed a contact's email address several times in the course of the year, the one Outlook suggests when you start typing the person's name in the To field will be the wrong one. These phantom e-mail addresses can cause an email to bounce back especially if you had mistyped the email address the first time.
