Using Outlook, and with my monitor set at its recommended resolution, some of my emails (newsletters, Facebook notifications) are almost impossible to read as the text is too small. Wondershare free video converter.

Installed the latest update. VBA looks like a Windows 98 app! There are even the dreadful parent and child windows! Is this some kind of joke? EDIT: not to mention that this behaves as badly as it looks. The resizing handles don't work well, the window doesn't react to a double click on its edge, it doesn't even react to a double-click on the title bar. Seriously, what is the Mac BU thinking?

Outlook For Mac Version 16.7 Font Is Very Small In Reading Pane

Is this a direct emulation of the windows version? But it's got the some Windows 98-style close button, and the parent/child windows, which I though were being deprecate on Windows. I thought the real challenge was to get VBA running on MacOS.

A Cocoa interface should be easy to implement these days. Let me first introduce NSWindow. Does anyone know what happened with Japanese language support in Word on macOS High Sierra? When writing in Japanese, Word consistently changes every consonant (but not vowel) into a latin letter and doesn't transform full words into kanji. No other application (including PowerPoint and Excel) has this problem. It appears on 3 out of 4 computers on which I tested this and it doesn't matter whether the operating system language is set to English or Japanese. In Word's preferences there's a menu item 'East Asian Languages'.

Logically, the one computer on which Japanese language works as expected does not have this menu item for some misterious reason. Hi Kersy, We've seen a couple reports of this issue in the last few days, all on High Sierra, but the Word team hasn't been able to reproduce the problem in-house. Can you answer a few questions for me?

1) What is the set of 'Preferred languages' (and order) in your Language & Region system preferences, on both the Macs where you have the problem and where you don't? 2) What 'Region' do you have set in the right side of that same prefs pane? 3) What specific version of Word do you have installed? 4) Are you using the system IME or a 3rd party one like ATOK? Thanks, Schwieb The problem appeared after we upgraded our Macs to High Sierra. I now managed to solve the problem on one of our Macs by deleting and reinstalling Office from scratch under my wife's username.

Under my username it still doesn't work even after this operation. On the Mac where it worked also after upgrading to High Sierra, I now figured out that it actually works only under my wife's username.

As for your questions: 1. In my username I have English at the top, followed by Japanese. My wife's username has Japanese first, followed by English and French. So both usernames where it works now run the system in Japanese. But there is still one Mac where we did not reinstall Office and it doesn't work even though her username runs the system in Japanese. It might also be relevant that she occasionally switches the main language.
